In short: My first 5k so nothing to compare it to
In full: Will use this as my benchmark for further races, it was raining heavily, we were only outside waiting for the start for about 5 minutes but the poor marshalls were out for much longer and was well impressed as they clapped and egged everybody on. As it was my first 5k it was a personal best (28:52) and looking forward to completing all 3 races next year.

In short: As always, congrats to all at NRR and special praise for all the marshals who smiled and encouraged all of us as the rain came down. will be back next year.

In short: Wet but no-one seemed to care
In full: Another well run event by NRR will be back next year. Well done the marshals for stanfing all that time in the rain and still finding time to encourage.

In short: Good, fast 5k
In full: Good country setting, mostly running on lanes. Pretty flat so good for personal best. Nice atmosphere, slightly clubby but not off-puttingly so. Made all the more attractive as the series lets you see how well you're progressing (or not!).

In short: PB course.
In full: Pb course, bottle neck start which mean't I hurdled a faller at the 1st corner after just 25 meters! - otherwise it was a well organised event with an abundance of prizes.
Not too sure that some of the final results were that accurate though... However, it's on my calender for next year.

In short: A well organised event as usual, the only problem is at the start & in the first kilometre when several runners seem incapable of following the instruction keep left although I appreciate the start & first turn are tight.

In short: Good once you find it
In full: The supplied map was inadequate, the signposting to find the event was poor, there were no signs through Wroxham or Hoveton and I ended up having to ask the locals for directions. Everything else was very good indeed and I achieved a PB which was exactly what I wanted.
