In short:
In full: This is not only a fantastic race but a great family day out, well supported by runners and non runners alike. The organisation is amazing, everything runs like clockwork and everyone involved is so cheerful, helpful and happy to be there! Appalling weather this year, but the organisers did a brilliant job. Other race organisers would do well to take a look, good medal, T-Shirt & goody bag, VERY reasonable entry fee and all carried out with great aplomb!

The variety of races means there is something for everyone.

Well done to everyone concerned, and make sure you all get on board next year.

In short: Unique multi-terrain event on tracks, fields, sand dunes, and through an Army Camp. Very well organised by Southport Waterloo. A joy for different reasons every year - this time battling strong wind first half then relaxing home enjoying the scenery.

In short: Windy but worth it
In full: Usually run on a warm hot day, today the wind was terrible. But a great off road race, taking in local Army Rifle Range and soldiers manning the water station. T-shirt and medal for all finishers. Great Bank holiday race.
