In short: What an amazing and thoroughly exhausting race! Long hills, good support, friendly organizers and runners alike!
In full: What an amazing day of racing. It's already hit the calendar for next year. The long sweeping downhills and brutal wooded ascents make for a gruelling battle between mind and legs - especially if you do the Red Kite Challenge on the Saturday. Friendly organization, plentiful water stations, great prizes, and a bit of sunshine helped to make this one of the highlights of my racing year so far.

In short: One of my favourite races, the course is amazing, well marshalled and very hard!
In full: I just ran th Ras Y Diafol and really enjoyed it. Thanks to Dick and all who organised it. Shame the club runners are arrogant, one wouldnt even shake my hand at the finish! You dont have to belong to a club to enjoy running fellas!

Anyway the route is the best, thanks again.

In short: Well marked, tough, variable terrain, superbly marshalled, fantastic.
In full: Along with 22 other hardy souls that also competed in the Red Kite Challenge on the previous day, I set off with some amount of trepidation, and no-little soreness in my legs.
As with Saturday's race, it was sunny and very windy, espescially on the heights. The course was altered somewhat, but still tough and thoroughly enjoyable, the fallen tree we had to negotiate twice was a nice twist.
Ok, so a PB is out of the question, but this is a far better race for just that reason.
Give the two races in two days a go, it's worth the effort.

In short: The best race Ive done for years. Scenery was amazing and the route was enjoyable. A small field but very well run. I will be back again. Many thanks
