In short: Well organised, good mix of runners, good course - pity Blackburn isn't very picturesque!
In full: As others have said Blackburn isn't the prettiest of places and it's a shame the locals didn't turn out to support. However the marshals, again as others have said, were awesome and the day was really well organised. Was great to see Ron Hill running in his string vest!
The atmosphere in Witton Park on and around the start/finish was great.

In short: A twisty run in the wind around Blackburn
In full: Well organised event that unfortunately did not bring out the crowds in Blackburn and some of the route looked a bit rough and definitely not pictureseque. Overall a well organised race with lots of wonderful marshals and a great start and finish in Witton Park.

In short: An honour to be running in a Jane Tomlinson event - a good day
In full: One of the best organised events I've been to - some larger events could learn a lot. I enjoyed the course as I get bored on long straight roads so a slightly twisty course made a nice change. Blacburn isn't the most scenic town in the world but the start and finish in the park was nice and thefact that all the marshals and stweards had smiles on their faces all day counts for a lot. Jane would have been very proud.....

In full: Nice flat course, fairly well organised - but what on earth was going on with the distance markers?? Either an error or very unclear.

Seemed very welcoming for first timers with no time pressures.

In short: pretty tricky for first timers but a good little challenge for next year
In full: Not knowing the terrain all that well I let my girlfriend reassure me it was a pretty normal run - so I entered her too. It was her first run and now she can appreciate all the hard work we runners put in. I ran back home and left her in pain to contemplate her next run. We will both be back next year.
