In short: Very fast In full: Only complaint I have is I was expecting a more colourful medal. The ribbon is so dull and medal small. Apart from that this will be the fastest 10k course you will ever do. Some great organisation. Good race. Date of review: September 5, 2016
In short: Excellent Event In full: An excellent event, as always with the Pride Run 10K. Many thanks to all the organisers and volunteers who make it such a great day. Special kudos to the people who fill the bagels for everyone at the finishing line, and the people who pick up the cups left around the water station. Truly thankless tasks, but much appreciated by runners :-) Date of review: August 23, 2016
In short: Friendly, Welcoming and Colourful In full: This is the second year of taking part, and once again the event is really well organised. Its the little things like already having your race number written on the baggage label.
The route its self is scenic, flat and offers good PB potential and is very well supported by friends, partners and general park goers.
The event its self is very well organised, easily laid out, friendly and helps unite the LGBT community and offers a great social opportunity away from the traditional LGBT Clubbing scene'.
Thoroughly recommended and every year the gift back seems to feature something different - Last year a T-Shirt, this year a gym/face towel. Date of review: August 16, 2016
In short: Friendly and welcoming, a great race! In full: I love this race, so friendly and supportive, and everything just works. Love the bagels and there's a party afterwards! Date of review: August 15, 2016
In short: Great atmosphere, well-organised, excellent In full: This race has really developed into something special for serious and non-serious runners. Well-organised, friendly and competitive with a nice goodie bag and a fabulous afterparty in the local pub with singers, dj and raffle. A must-do event. Date of review: August 14, 2016
In short: An August classic In full: Varied fun and friendly crowd. Great to have showers and changing. Not the norm for a 10k. Speedy club runners and novices welcomed by friendly volunteers. Date of review: September 6, 2015
In short: A firendly race in a beautiful park and terrific party atmosphere. In full: Good for experienced and new runners alike. Well organised and friendly. Post-race BBQ in local beer garden make for a fitting end to a glorious day. Date of review: August 28, 2015
In short: Perfect For A PB In full: The best race/run that I have ever done. Well organised and great goody bag. People are friendly and chatty - was great to be able to have a shower, before going with everyone to the local pub. Also small enough to be able to do a PB. Date of review: August 28, 2015
