In short: nice to be back
In full: haven't done this one for a few years and glad I did again today. A toughie but all levels gave it a go. Nicely low-key but I think thats what makes it attractive. Good winning times(and especially in the juniors 3m fun run). Great day out - thanks CRC.

In full: Always "enjoy" this one, especially this year as I ran with my 16 year old who did extremely well. Suffered a little when the sun came out and always find that first hill tough but then this is home territory so should be used to it by now! It's pretty tough for beginners but if you try out the 3 mile first that's a good place to start. Would be nice to see more people enter this one.

In short: A real must
In full: This was the first year I've done the race and despite it's reputation for being a hilly course, and yes it is a bit as I'd cycled it a few weeks prior and the hill at around 6 miles killed me then, I paced it just right the whole race and came in 10mins faster than I was expecting. Plenty of water stations, the jelly babies mid way were a welcome treat and the T-Shirt at the end is always nice. Anyone who can run a 10K and got a bit left in the tank or want a challenge this has to be it.

In short: Tough but totally managable for all running abilities. Do this!!!!!
In full: I was worried about this, because of the tough reputation it has, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Hilly, yes, and it does get hot (believe me, the earlier than normal 10am start is late enough!), but with 4 water stations, jelly babies mid race and great countryside throughout, plus the free T shirt at the end ("I'm in!!!"), it is so worth it. A good race for those wanting a race a teeny bit harder than a 10k.
