In short: Excellent challenge for beginners
In full: This was only my 2nd ever 10k race and its flat terrain allowed me a PB time. It was well organised and much of the route is set in the beautiful Elvaston Park and surrounds. I'm looking forward to next year's event already.

In short: A very well organised race in delightful surroundings with a friendly atmosphere!
In full: First time at a smaller club race and I have to say I was very impressed. The organisation of the race was fabulous with plenty of friendly, encouraging marshalls along the route. The route was in itself very flat and there is excellent opportunity to clock yourself a personal best without fail. It was of multi terrain consisting of tarmac, gravel type paths and some cobbles up near the castle. This is definitely on my racing calendar for next year. Well done to all involved in organising the race for us to enjoy, you did yourselves proud.

In short: Great course organized well let down big time by t-shirt
In full: This was a great flat course and well organized. Just a couple of big let down for me finish line was hectic didnt know where to pick up t-shirt or get a drink. It said on application form "a quality t-shirt" in my opinon there were not at all and when i finished there were only large and XL ones left!

In short: Good course, great marshalls
In full: Enjoyable race - good route. Marshalls were very encouraging, the best I have experienced - many thanks! Make sure you use the toilets at entry/castle - large queue for the one ladies loo. Good fun, and mix of abilities.

In short: A nice setting for a race
In full: The morning had seen very heavy showers, thunder and lightening. However, by the time the race started, it was very warm, humid and muggy but with plenty of puddles to dodge. The course was a double loop with extra bits and the K markers were nice and clear. Marshalls were pretty good and, all in all, it was a pleasant way to spend a Sunday morning.
