In short: not the easiest of runs
In full: this was quite a testing run, there was not much room to overtake on the first section of track and mates running together were a bit of a problem as they took up both narrow tracks,apart from that a nice and scenic course well marshalled and well organised,

In short: Tough but enjoyable
In full: As a beginner I found this a hard race but all the marshalls were helpful and friendly but there was little support out on the course (narrow riverbank path) so it seemed a long lonely run. Still enjoyed it though and would do it again, could imagine it would be even tougher if the path had been wet and muddy.

In full: Bit congested on the narrow bank at first, but soon got spread out.

In short: Ok but........
In full: Here goes my 2 grumbles, Club runners walking side by side during the race on narrow paths giving ppl running nowhere to ge round them, i politely said ladies and they moved aside & a marshall/steward promptly jumped in saying ladies you can go as slow as you want! My reply yes in single file! Its just inconsiderate & rude & marshalls/stewards should be stopping this not defending it!

In short: wet
In full: i have run this in the past in the blazing heat. this time it rained all the way round which made the grass (6 of the miles at least) a bit on the slippery side. good organisation with marshalls and water where they are needed. as usual the contents of the goodie bag were odd - a duster and paint sealent!
