In short: Good PB Potential
In full: The weather certainly prevented over heating and the course was very flat and fast. Fabric style numbers really are necessary, the card style numbers fell apart when they became wet and I had to carry mine from the 2km point.

In short: A very flat, fast course!
In full: Really enjoyed this and took 3 mins off my PB. The course is flat and fast, and although there are a lot of serious runners and it's not a fun run as such, everyone seemed welcome. Great organisation and marshalls (in the rain!).

In short: Very fast race - no so motivating for beginners.
In full: I enjoyed the course but found the instructions at the beginning quite confusing. It is a very fast race so it can be disheartening if you are a beginner. Most runners seemed to belong to a club. I was disappointed there was no goodie bag at the end.

In short: Just for the fit ones
In full: If you are a super competitive extremely fit runner, you'll fit fine in this race, otherwise you'll probably want to find something a bit less tense. Organization was fine, but the scenery really not that great. Fortunately the weather held and it wasn't too breezy. Probably won't do it again.

In short: Smooth, well organised race. Fast, flat route
In full: My first ever race but it seemed very well organised, plenty of 'enter on the day' places. Sign in smooth & quick.
Very fast flat course. Slightly dissapointed there was no goody bag or energy drink afterwards.

In short: Finish wasn't very clear when you entered the running track at the end
In full: Clearer signage for the actual finish line would be useful - still managed a PB though.

In short: Really enjoyed it. My first smallish event, I`ve only done the Great south run before, but didn`t feel out on a limb from the club runners.

In short: Worst organised event Ive ever raced
In full: The lead cycle took us the wrong way, a handful of marshals stood about with their hands in their pockets. Poorly signposted course. Lacklustre start and the finish was a complete mystery, luckily some spectators pointed me in the right direction!

In short: Could become a good event
In full: Confusion with the two lead cycles, no male changing, no bag storage or drinks at half way, & a bit of a damp squib of a finish & presentation. These are ment as constructive points. I have run D-Day & Victory & would again question the course accuracy & positioning of some of the km markers. I had a full minute differential in some of my km splits!
Hopefully these are teething problems in the first race, & it could become a good event
