In short: Flat, fun race for women, with loads of extra goodies thrown in
In full: This is a great all-female run, with lots of fun goodies including showers, nice toilets, make overs and best of all, CHAMPAGNE! Great food on site as well, although their after party was a bit tame! Didn't help that it was 33 degrees that day but still got PB of 10km in under 50 mins so a good course.
My only gripe was that there was no loop check for people who said they were doing 10km (instead of the other 5km option) - many people dropped out at the 5km point due to the heat so the placings were wrong - I know I was top 15 but originally told I was 162nd!
Sure they'll fix that next year though. For a first event, it was amazingly well organised.

In short: worth braving the heat for!
In full: A really scenic course with lots of encouraging marshalls, cheerleaders and supportive passers by. I got a disappointing time - I blame the heat!- but the atmosphere and everything else going on made up for it. I think it was worth paying the extra £10 or so for the excellent organsiation, concierge facilities, music, showers, civilised bag storage etc.It made you want to stay around and enjoy the atmosphere.

In short: A great day although a bit expensive
In full: The event was fun, aimed at girls only. The entry fee is rather high compared to other well organized runs, luckily we got a technical t-shirt although this was not even branded (not asics or adidas)so it must have cost them little. Unfortunately it was the hottest day of the year therefore the fact that the bottles of water were left under the sun did not help.. there was plenty of Gatorade which was very good.
I was meant to run 10K but ended up doing 5 as it was just too hot and had to run the British 10K the following day. Nice to have a medal, goody bag was average: only had a low calorie snack (after a run??), a magazine and some Elemis samples (well.. we paid for those with the entry fee!!) but that was it.. I was expecting a few more items in it by reading all their newsletters.. The glass of free champagne at the end was horrific, both my friend and I found that the champagne tasted corky and bittery.. not very good unfortunately, so disappointed with that...
KM markers where some shirtless average boys holding numbers which I think made it look a bit cheap considering at the start we were told to expect I don't know what... I don't think next time they should be there, bless them they were nice guys but to use them like that was a bit unnecessary.. I think on the other side judgement would have been quick if on a male run only there were women in bikini holding numbers...
Not sure if I would do it next year simply because I find it too expensive for what is offered.

In short: great course and good atmosphere but a bit hot!
In full: Enjoyed the evening and although I got a personal worst would definitely like to do again. The course was very flat and quite shaded with some nice views along the thames although there were some quite sharp turns. The event was very well organised with a party atmosphere.Very secure and efficient bag storage, hot showers and plenty of changing space.
