In short: Enjoyable day well organised, a drink at the end would have been nice In full: The hills make this a challenging run but an enjoyable one. Low key atmosphere with not too many people about and a lot fewer entrants than I expected based on previous year's report. Useful training run/race for me. Made the mistake of driving there and then trying to find somewhere legal to park......should have given me more incentive to run faster.... Date of review: September 6, 2010

In short: Another personal best despite the hills. In full: Nice race , not too many people and friendly atmosphere. Not enough portaloos so big queues before the race. Also just a medal no energy drinks or snakes after the race. Still managed to run in under 50 minutes so very pleased with that. Enjoy the smaller races as nice not to be tripping over others. In short: Hilly, hard but fun In full: Finsbury Park is always a challenge - trying to keep to a rhythm with all those hills is hard! A nice race though and well organised - saying that the organisers over egged the size of the additional entertainment - a burger van, coffee stall and PA system didn't quite live up to the billing. Not the end of the world though and I'd happily run again. Date of review: September 6, 2010

In short: Low key in all the right ways In full: I really enjoyed this 10k. It was a nice size crowd ie not too many of us, so there was absolutely no jostling at the start of the race. There are gentle hills to make this a tad more challenging and the two laps are nice and interesting, with lots to see in the park. The only shame was a dog off the lead who sent one runner flying. (The woman in question heroically got up and finished the race.) I achieved a PB going by my sports watch, but am now struggling to find the chip results on-line. I was able to cycle there and back from my house, so ideal for locals. Date of review: September 5, 2010
