In short: HIlly, but what goes up much go down
In full: Lovely local race not to far from home for me. So lack of Loo's wasn't a problem, i think 4 was a little on the short side. Didnt mind standing in line for the timing chip, as sending them out would only cost money and with drop outs would end up costing the race organizators some more money and put costs up. They should have had the chip readers on the start line to to give a accuracy race time start and finish

Loved the Mars bar in the goodie bag at the end, better for those who dont like banana's!

In short: Hillier than expected but glad I did it
In full: I knew Finsbury Park had a few hills in but the reality of it was harder than I imagined. A challenging race for me but a good challenge and I'd certainly take part again.

In short: In need of a few more improvements
In full: Average race in need of a few more improvements.
To start with pls let's have more loos!! 4 Toilets are not enough for hundreds of runners, the queue was massive!! The registration desk was another story, another long queue which delayed the start.
The warm up was not great, people could barely hear the music so lots of people left it and started making their way to the start line.
Loved the small bottles given at the 5K mark!
Goody bag was nothing major, appreciated the recipe book for healthy meals but to give out a Mars bar??? What is that all about? I would have preferred a banana instead!!! A run that preaches a healthy lifestyle can't give a Mars bar to finishers!!
The course was a bit challenging at times with steep hills but still fun and lots of people cheering along the way.

In short: More hills then you would expect!
In full: In general a good race, more toilets, not bothering having an organised warm up session, and not putting the finish line on a 90 degree angle to the finishing straight would make it a very good race. A bike lead the route for the first lap to make sure that the front few didn't get lost which was a good idea as the course was very twisty. Plus it's all for charidddy

In short: The up's and down's of Finsbury Park
In full: Long queues for registration, long queues for the toilets. Then I missed the start of the race but this time they had timing chips - so no problem (one would think). Except that they only noted the time at the finish NOT the start time. What a shame.....!

In short: A twisting turning course, with a few up gradients
In full: The registration was very slow, needed more people to on the desk and splitting the queue's up by surname letters may help.

The course kept weaving back and forth with lots of up and downs, which made keeping a steady pace impossible.

All said and done a great atmosphere and the weather was fine to.

In short: Enoyable Sunday morning run.
In full: This was my 3rd 10K race. The first 2 being bigger ones in the city of London. There was a bit of a wait for registration and only 4 portaloos. However well organised , bag drop , race marshalls and though have not found out how to get my official time yet will do again. Also nice not to be tripping over hoards of people in the middle of London.

In short: Good race - dissapointed by the 15m delay due to registration
In full: Good race - nice medal and shirt. Would suggest numbers for next years race and running chips are sent in advance. It was crazy to have 2 people handing them out - normally 6-8 people do this alphatecially if you are not posting them. Aside from that could have done with one more water station at 3k & 7k. Nice venue and friendly atmosphere.

In short: Well organised, although some of the placings of the kilometre markers seemed a bit dubious! 3 or 4 steady inclines on each lap so pretty tough to get a decent time
