In short: organised by runners for runners, top race In full: marshals and water station volunteers fantastic, good PB potential and nice lively atmosphere at finish. Route generally good, just one tricky narrow bit at White Waltham. Date of review: September 13, 2014
In short: Very well organised, shame no medal! In full: I really enjoyed this race, first time and I'll be back. Very well organised, lots of parking. Downside is no medal. I've done over 30 races so far and this is the first time I've not had a medal which is really odd Date of review: April 24, 2014
In short: Always good, didn't disappoint In full: Excellent marshals and organisation. Nice try with the usb stick as something different but it didn't work for me. Give me a medal every time. Date of review: April 22, 2014
In short: This was the first time I have run this race and I loved it. Great course and lovely atmosphere with plenty of crowd support. I would have liked a medal though as USB stick hardly a memento. Date of review: April 19, 2014
In full: I like this race very much and look forward to it every year. I like a medal at the finish, but would still do it again as it is a nice buzz & a great start to summer & running longer distances. will be back in 2015.. Date of review: April 19, 2014
In short: lovely kick off to the Easter weekend In full: This a well organised race away from the town, starting from a local business park. Plenty of parking. Very relaxed, and doing a couple of loops of the park means the supporters get to see you a few times. The weather was wonderful this year, and the water stations were appreciated. My only gripe this year is with the medal, we have had nice ones in previous years, but this year everyone got a usb stick on a cord. I can't even be bothered to see what's on it. All my club members feel the same, overwhelming disappointment. It just wouldn't look right on my medal hanger. Sorry Maidenhead, lovely race, and I'll be back again, but please have proper medals next time.
In short: A very good ten miler In full: First time I have done it. Very much enjoyed it. Excellent organisation and parking right next to the race village. I didn't mind the loops in the business park - it gets you geared up for when you are let loose on the countryside. Got a PB for this somewhat unusual distance. Would definitely do it again.
