In short: Flat, that is not a hill at 8 miles people of Norfolk, and friendly race
In full: Have run this twice and it is a very pleasant race. Well organised with good marshalling. Flat course which will definitely give a few a good PB. Quiet country roads so the occasional car & tractor is not a problem but means little support out on the run. However a good welcome back into the finish. Worth a look for anybody.

In short: Excellent course , very scenic with a PB potential
In full: Having been running for 4 years and entering races within Norfolk, I had yet to give Wissey Half a try and I was certainly not disappointed. Excellent organisation, a delightful scenic course using all country back lanes, meaning I hardly saw a car! The course had a couple of climbs, but it is definetly a PB potential. Cost of the race was only £12 and all runners who completed got a given a bottle of cider. What do again!

In short: Superb, in every way!
In full: First time at this lovely event. Everything was absolutely super: Very friendly & encouraging marshals, a very scenic and slightly undulating course, very fast race result, and some very yummy cakes as well!! I will most certainly return in the future. A BIG well-done to Ryston Runners! P.S. Don't really like Ale though!!

In short: A fast, flat race with excellent organisation and a beer at the finish
In full: This was a very well organised race with fabulous scenery, lots of sunshine, an extremely flat course (my training is in the Yorkshire Pennines so this was a really flat event for me) with friendly competitors and really pretty Norfolk scenery. I took nearly 15 minutes off my previous PB which I had only set 4 weeks earlier at Newark (another flat course) so was extremely pleased. The dedication at the start and 1 minute silence made me really reflect on how lucky I am to be alive, fit and healthy and to treasure every moment with my family and friends. As a mum with a youngest of less than a year my heart really goes out to Jo and her family. Thank you for organising a great race.
