In short: My second time and definitely not my last.
In full: After doing a few bigger and more corporate halfs this year this race is a breath of fresh air. Well organised, really friendly great course and one i will do time and time again in the future.

In short: Excellent organisation from beginning to end. An undulating course with excellent support from marshalls and spectators. You can see why this race fills up within a couple of weeks of entries opening every year.

In short: Marvellous race!
In full: This race retains a lovely friendly feel to it despite being quite big. Great marshall support all the way round. Fantastic hat (a nice change from the usual t-shirt) and life-saving piping hot tomato soup at the end!

In short: Silky smooth organisation, no wonder this fills out in 2 weeks.
In full: Over the last 10 years I've done this race more often than not and it will remain one of my favourites. Hills are tough but well spaced out nice little sting in the tail to finish and a cracking atmnosphere.

In short: great hat!
In full: it's so good to get something other than a t-shirt for once! The entry cost was a bargain compared to most halfs and the course had some nice scenery and was surprisingly well supported. I can see why this sells out so quickly each year.
