In short: Friendly race, supportive marshalls, attractive medal, enough toilets, well organised baggage drop/collection. Really enjoyed the start and finish in the stadium, made a nice difference. Will do next year.
In full: Thank you to the marshall just before the 8km mark - really encouraged me when he told me last 2km all downhill. Kept me going!

In short: Nice day for a run
In full: If memory serves me right, there used to be more than just a half plastic cup of water at the end of the race. Seemed a bit tight to me and certainly the worst for any race I have competed in! Likewise I recall bottles of water at the drinks stations in previous years rather than the water cooler plastic cups that are pretty useless to drink from while running. The starter seemed keen to crack a gag at the start, while we all waited for something to happen.
On the plus side: nice and warm for a race today, with a little breeze. The crowd support going back into the stadium is always amazing and there were a few pockets of cheering spectators along the way (though not the loudest I've heard)
Good looking medal.

All in all, a little disappointed with this years race - lets hope its a bit better next year. Sort out a bottle of water for each runner, maybe a banana each wouldn't go amiss and start it in a spritely manner.
