In short: Great event
In full: Only decided to enter on the day as I was in the area. Fabulous event, but a VERY TOUGH route especially as it was exceptionally hot. Excellent organisation, with plenty of much needed water stations.
My only criticism, I missed out on a T-shirt (heading straight for the water after crossing the line), despite the organisers promising to post me one out I never did get one. Perhaps I’ll enter next year?

In short: Pretty route over undulating hills, very well organised, 5* marshals.
In full: Thanks Witney Roadrunners for a well organised race over a really gorgeous course. The extra water stations were much appreciated in this hot weather, and there were lots of marshals giving encouragement at the top of the hills! Nice bright tech tee is a great memento. Was pretty near the back of the field when I'm usually in the middle, so seems quite a strong field for this one. Hope to return next year.

In short: A lovely run
In full: I was a bit daunted when I first arrived at this race to find that 90% of people seemed to be affiliated with some club or other and were busy setting up their garmins. (Am not affiliated with a club and haven't run with a watch for a long time). That said, all the people who I spoke to whilst running seemed friendly enough and the marshalls were fab and there were plenty of them. The course was a bit challenging but not too bad and all on tarmac. I managed to come in in under an hour and a half but was still in the bottom 25%, so this is probably a run better suited to more experienced runners rather than beginners. Still, I had fun and would do it again!

In short: A very friendly well organised race
In full: This was the 7th time I'd run this one and it's one of my favourites. A challenging course with some short sharp hills but plenty of down as well. Friendly marshalls with a nice technical t-shirt and some welcoming refreshments provided by the PTA. Shame there weren't a few more entrants. Thanks Witney Roadrunners. Will be back next year.

In short: A challenge
In full: I ran this instead of Chip Half. I'm glad I did, very well organised, great school. The hills were plentyful. Really good prep for Swindon Half. Will do next year.

In short: great challenging road race
In full: Loved this race even though I'm not keen on road races overall. Nice atmosphere, good marshalling, nice route. Nice facilities at school. And quite cheap for a longish run. As for the hills I was waiting for them and they never realy came, there were undulations but nothing too serious, they only added to scenery. Overall great work Witney Roadrunners.

In short: Beautiful Challenging Friendly
In full: I'll admit it was a beautifully sunny day which really helped, but I think this is one of my favourite ever races. It is hilly but never too hard somehow. Tough hills but always mercifully short, and when you went up, you always came down again. The scenery was lovely and the marshalls friendly and helpful. Well done to all concerned. Oh, and a great wicking T-Shirt as well. For the price, I think that's outstanding.
