In short: Great race, brilliantly organised.
In full: This race has all the features you would associate with a much bigger race (chip timing, proper drinks station with bottles, excellent marshalling, clear signage) but with the friendliness of a small local event. The course is challenging so don't expect a PB but really enjoyable. Well organised - big thanks to all the Marshalls and everyone else involved. Definitely one for next year.

In short: Great little race
In full: Challenging multi-terrain course but an interesting, scenic route. Very well organised event, generous goody bag and good facilities at race HQ.Pure radio broadcast helped createa good atmosphere. Not a PB race but that added to the enjoyment. Will be back.

In full: First time have run a small mixed terrain race and enjoyed the variety and small numbers which meant you could run your own pace from the off. The single file footpath sections might hold some people up here and there, and this, the terrain and the odd sharp climb mean it is definitely not a PB course, but a very enjoyable one. Organisation immaculate and the overall atmosphere fun, and welcoming. Imagine it could be pretty muddy a wet day, but the only problem today was the heat and baking sun. Congratulions to the organisers

In short: Enjoyed it. Very good intro to a mixed terrain race
In full: Well organised. Chip timing very nice feature on a relatively small event. Marshalling and distance marking worked well. Single file sections are a bit of a pain but they do not last too long - treat them as a rest and run faster later. Event deserves a bigger entry.

In short: Very well organised and friendly
In full: Start/finish and marshalling were very well organised and friendly, and car parking is free and right next door. It's a surprisingly challenging 10K, especially as the first couple of miles, along level roads and tracks, lulls you into a false sense of security. After that, there are narrow paths, fields, road bridges, some hills (one very sharp but short). So my splits tell a tale of woe, but I enjoyed the event nonetheless.

In short: A great Sunday morning 10k and for a good cause
In full: Great pre-race organisation with parking made easy and a quick number and chip collecion point. The warm up was typical English summer....deluging and people huddling under gazebos to keep dry. Come the off, the rain cleared and the weather was perfect for running. A nice mix of terrain for the run and a couple of kms of 'singletrack' to make a PB difficult, but to make you slowdown and keep some energy in the tank. One small but very sharp hill at about 6kms was a surprise but a good challenge. Friendly marshalls and crowds kept your spirits up. I'll be back for this one.

In short: One of the best
In full: Very well organised event, from collecting your race number to picking up the bulging goody bag every marshal/volunteer was pleasant and helpful, the course is an interesting mix of rural roads, woodlands paths and fields, not a good PB course due to the single file paths after around the 5K mark but sometimes races are not about PB chasing and just having fun, this event is one of the latter, count me in for next year.

In short: Excellent new race and all in a good cause.
In full: I definitely recommend this new race, which I hope will be repeated next year. Although it was quite pricey for a 10K the proceeds went to the local hospital.
The course was mildly challenging, particular the off-road sections due to the heavy rain of late. I reckon I lost a couple of minutes getting stuck behind others on the single file footpath bits.
Nevertheless this was a really well organised event and I heartily recommend it.
