In full: Excellent race with some challenging hills. Superbly organised and well marshalled. And the cakes at the end - a great finish! This should be a must do for runners!

In short: A tough and truly hilly challenge with a warm welcome home
In full: This was my first attempt at this race and it was very hilly. Contrary to other reveiwers there were mile markers throughout the race perhaps going slower I had a better opportunity to see these! The only consideration for future runners is that over the first half mile there is a single file section so make sure you start at the right position within the pack! Also some high stiles too.

In short: The hills are alive!
In full: A great race with excellent organisation. This hills can definitely be described as "sporting" and you'll get the CV work out of a life time.
Some great scenery and some amazing post race cakes definitely make the whole thing worth it. If starts and finishes at a school so parking and facilities are fine.
Don't expect a PB but although it's not for the faint hearted it does have a mix of experienced club runners and those looking to complete a good challenge

In short: AWESOME!!!
In full: I can talk from a little experience here. I've done many, many small races and 2 marathons so far in my career. This run was simply the best race i've done to date i'm sure. It had it all. A challenging course with smashing marshalls and competitors. The goody bag and medal was just exceptional! Very Happy indeed! Thankyou, Bromsgrove & Redditch Athletic Club. Pure Quality :)

In short: Good Old Hills
In full: Well I've been in a lot of races recently with a lot of people claiming they were "hilly" Finally a race that warrants the label!

Race itself was 8.5 miles according to the Garmin and it was tough. Lots of hills and shoe-losing ground with a few stiles chucked in.

Marshalling was good and encouraging. Somehow managed a sprint finish with 300 metres to go, not sure where that came from as the legs were knackered at that point!

Love races like this and would definitely do it again.
