In short: Great race for both beginners and more experienced runners
In full: A most enjoyable race - a bit of road but plenty of cross country. Beautiful scenery on a lovely sunny day. Very friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it for both beginners and experienced runners.

In short: Nice route along the river and through the churchyard.
In full: New route announced on the day held a few surprises. I'd been looking forward to the climb up the hill from Deerhurst as a chance to move up through the places (bit like Alberto Contador) so disappointed to see it had been taken out. Relieved to find that after all it still included some hilly bits which allowed for a bit of overtaking. Great atmosphere at the finish with a great crowd and good burgers. Took 3 minutes off my previous best at Apperley, so happy with that. Would just suggest that the website is updated for next time as all the info wad out of date. Will definitely be back though.

In short: Excellent course, mainly off road along the River Severn and the road part is quiet country lanes. Much better this year as the long grass had been cut. Only fault - sticky numbers came unstuck; mine blew off into a field somewhere!

In short: Really good atmosphere and great scenery
In full: A lovely race through pretty countryside, with really encouraging crowds along the whole route. great atmosphere at the start and finish with good facilities but no medal or goody bag! Still good value though and would definitely do again next year...and be more prepared for the hill at the end.

In short: 'Small village' atmosphere, family friendly. Lovely route, ~75% light trail with river views and a charming churchyard. Last 2-2.5km quite challenging/hilly. Well organised and controlled; slight problem with numbers failing to stick; not chip timed.

In short: Friendly, well marshalled, no hassle, lovely countryside.
In full: A great local race in lovely countryside. Encouraging marshalls all the way and a welcome crowd at the finish. Well organised with no queues anywhere. Personally I wouldn't bother with the certificates - more hassle for you!

In short: Very friendly, well-organised race
In full: This was a lovely, friendly race, setting off from the village cricket club to follow a route that was roughly half road and half cross country. The start took us through the village with lots of local support, and down a road descent towards the river, this probably being a good time to bank a bit of time. From there, it's a nice run along the river bank for a couple of miles down to the pretty village of Deerhurst and a return to the road. Here there's a bit of a sting in the tail with a climb back up to Apperley before levelling out for a fast finish back to the cricket club. Will definitely be doing this one again, it was a really nice route with a lovely, friendly atmosphere.
