In short: Definitely challenging, especially in the snow this year, but well worth it. The killer hill at the end lives up to its reputation.

In short: This run is in my top five races
In full: Very friendly and welcoming bunch of people; good and varied track surface; well organised and good support from marshalls including advice on the conditions. Extra touches: reading out every runner's name crossing the line; stupendous 200m hill at 9.3 miles; engraved medal. And all for £10.

In short: Fantastic gem of a race
In full: Brilliant race, everything from the route, encouraging marshalls along the way, medal & goody bag, pint of Guinness in the clubhouse after, and army cadets pushing our car through the snow - all made up for 'that hill' at mile 9. Will be back next year.

In short: Definitely a 'challenge'
In full: Had my doubts about doing this one the day before, but so glad I changed my mind. Despite the snow and cold it was excellent. Definitely a 'challenge'. A massive thank you to the marshalls - you must have been so cold. Nicely chilled water at the water station! Very disappointed to see the amount of discarded bottles - come on people have a bit of respect - at least carry it until you can hand it to the next marshall. The hill. What can I say. What sadistic b****** put that in? Fun watching everyone struggle in front - but if you'd gone slightly to the left or right there was far more grip. All in all great fun. Many thanks.

In short: Wonderful
In full: Forget flowers and chocolates - this is the very best way to celebrate Valentine's Day.
Fabulous course ; plenty of hills and the mud on the Eiger near the end nearly finished me off.
Big thanks to the wonderful marshalls - hope you've all thawed out.
Last but not least the best pint of Guinness you will find in this country.
An absolute must!
