In short: Billed as a fun run but it wasn't - poorly organised
In full: I did this as it was advertised as a fun run so I thought I would have a fun morning - sadly mistaken. Tough run but that would have been fine if marshalled correctly, being the back marker, anything could have happened in the woods and no-one aware. No directions, the water station ran out of water (what was that all about!), got sent the wrong way and then got back to find all the presentations had already happened! This event is on my soorstep so I am bitterly disappointed to have felt so excluded.

In short: advertised as 10k but did just over 8
In full: Looking forward to 10 k race to finish just after 8k. Marshalls sent runners wrong way. Not good enough to have just children left alone to be marshalls . Should be adult with them. Would like to see k marks for next year . Stiff course for first timers with some nice hills. Would def do again could be excellent run with a bit more effort.

In short: Great course and has the makings of a great race. I'm sure any teething difficulties can be sorted out. Thanks to the organisers for hosting who I hope raised some money for their charity. High 5 goody bag was a nice touch, would enter again.

In short: Poorly organised,no prerace map of course, started 10 minutes late and missing marshalls after 5k causing half the runners to only run 8k as we went the wrong way!!

In short: Has the makings of a Great Race
In full: A new race, a good location and the course has a bit of everything, a big hill, long drawn out uphills, fast long downhills and 1 foot deep mud trenches. This is a great course and I look foward to running it again. The race was well organised, the route well sign posted, and the marshalls did a great job. I'm sure the race will grow in stature year by year. Now one of my favourite 10k's!
