In short: My first 10k race - very good experience.
In full: I would have to concur with the previous members commenting on this race. Although the weather was not great, there was a fantastic atmosphere with 900 runners and also friends/family in support and for a good cause. The route was in the main not too challenging (I went faster over this distance than ever I think) around the docks and cathedral in the city. Also - very heavily marshalled and well organised.

In short: Great first 10km run
In full: My only complaint was the lack of loos, it was well organised, marshalls everywhere. The weather was horrendous so not many supporters. I would definitely do it again, the warm up and the pa were excellent. I felt like the winner when I came in and my number was called out and everyone was clapping. 100% better than my race for life experience at Hereford - I hated that.

In short: Good times 10K
In full: This was a superbly managed event, great atmosphere, loads of road closures and the largest amount of marshals I’ve ever seen on a 10K course. Great route, I loved running through the cathedral grounds, really picturesque and even the rain was dropping at just the right rate to keep me cool.
My only one picky negative was running back in across the grass to the finish, which had become muddy and a bit slippery. Although this made me slow down a bit I still managed a PB so it’s all smiles.
A big thanks you to all the marshals.
