In short: A good race In full: Course improved on last year though a little congested around 6-8 mile point. Very well marshalled.Thank you to the water station helpers! Plenty of room in the stadium, good facilities. Can't understand though why some idiots still pin their numbers on their backs or run with those bloody i-pod things! Be sociable! Hope they can keep the same standard next year. Date of review: March 3, 2013
In short: A really good race that I think will become a great one. In full: I got a PB on this so the headwind couldn't have been that bad! Actually the cold conditions suited me, as I hate running in warm conditions, so it was nice to be kept cool. The race lacks a bit of atmosphere but I think using the rugby stadium will help with that aspect next year, as will some more participants which I hope will be the case as this is a lovely event that deserves more support. The running shoe trophy was a real talking point and it is nice to have something you can display - it's hard to prop up your medals! Would prefer a t-shirt to a cap though.
In short: Good course, well marshalled, great pb potential In full: enjoyed the race but would like to take this oportunity to mention the dispicable person who stole my london marathon sweatshirt which was heavily tied to the railings before the race and removed by the time i came back. I was placed there as i arrived too late to use storage area due to traffic conjestion. I was freezing and wet afterwards and as i had £ 4 in the pocket could not even buy a cup of tea. You know who you are, hope it was worth it. Date of review: March 10, 2012
