In short: First time Croydon 10k runner and well impressed!
In full: Very well organised race. Marshals were very encouraging! It is undulating and narrow in places but much better than having a looped route. Great race, will be back in 2012!

In short: Local race otherwise would not be running it.
In full: New race organisers - Nice Work - so a few teething issues, start mat not the full widith of the road, time markers the wrong way around, car face clock not stated when the race was. Race late in starting. And whose idea was it to take the race route off road and along a single mud track besides Oaks Road? I know they wanted to keep us off the road for safety reasons but it was more safe on the road than it was trying to get all runners going down the same single track.

In full: Positives - Well marshalled, good atmosphere. Negatives - over crowding at the start made it difficult to get going, distance markers were not accuratley placed, the timing clock at the end of the race was fast by about 80 seconds so lots of runners were left dissapointed with their actual time. This was pointed out early on to the officials and I am not sure why they didn't turn the clock off?

In short: Very enjoyable, not to hard, would do this one again
In full: Very enjoyable, this is only my 5th 10K and jus of 60 it was not to taxing, as long as you don't go of to fast to start with, only problem can't find out my time, hopefully will turn up soon, recommended enjoy

In short: Friendly well run race in lovely weather
In full: It is a pity that so much is on pavements but I didn't have to stop for traffic at all and got a reasonable time (a PB but I haven't done many races.
It all seemed to run pretty well

In short: Worth getting up for!
In full: My first time running this event and was pleased I did. Was disappointed at not getting a goody bag despite finnishing well inside 45 minutes!

My other gripe was why not stagger the start? with chip timing this should not be an issue. I spent the first 3 k either being stuck behind slower runners on narrow paths or having to run in the busy road to pass.
