In short: Absolute Gem of a race In full: A well organised event with great support from the locals and marshalls. A very gentle undulating course with no serious hills. Very Nice medal just topped off a near perfect running day! Well done and many thanks to the organisers and marshalls. Date of review: October 12, 2010

In short: Sea front run starts at the pier, run along sea front then into countryside, you would love it! In full: Start time of 11am, along sea front, cliff top road then into countryside before coming back into Felixstowe residential are and then back to sea front for a second circuit, only 1 spot that needed marshalls which was when runners crosed the road, which these had not been closed to traffic, but that said the marshalls did an excellent job, enough water stations, and local support was very good indeed, overall the event was well planned, many thanks to the organisers for this. Looking forward to next years event. Date of review: October 12, 2010

In short: A great two lap road race starting and finishing on the prom. In full: A really nice race which was well organised and supported. I enjoyed the day out even with the wind ane even managed a PB. No serious hills and a steady decent back to the seafront helps you for the final few miles. A few extra cones/tape along the seafront section might help to keep passers-by more alert and separate from the runners. That or rain next year but I wouldn't wish for that !!
A thoroughly enjoyable race - well done Felixstowe Road Runners. Date of review: October 11, 2010

In short: A great race which is a favourite for most local people In full: This is a great race which is at the mercy of the weather. 2010 was very windy which is tough going running along the sea front but was behind you for the longer section through the country. Its a 2 lap course so you know what to expect on lap 2. A great event and a credit to Felixstowe Road Runners Date of review: October 10, 2010

In short: Friendly fun event. In full: First time at this event. Nice location for race HQ and start/finish on seafront. Excellent marshalling with lots of encouragement and nicely spaced waterstations. Fair course with uphills balanced with downhills. Nice medal in shape of beach hut and a stick of rock to commemorate race aswell as other stuff in goody bag. Thanks Felixstowe Road Runners and the sponsors for a really good event. See you next year. Any chance you can cancel that strong north easterly wind? Date of review: October 10, 2010

In short: Great sunny weather and friendly marsjhals helped make this a great race. In full: Two lap course. A strong-ish breeze along the seafront and 'undulations' made the course quite hard (they are my excuses anyway!). But there are no true hills and the friendly marshalls and support along the promenade made this a good race. Date of review: October 10, 2010
