In short: Nice course with a few 'lumps', shame about the delayed start..
In full: This is my local 10K and it is run through some nice woodland. Everything was looking good, the sun was out and the number collection went well but the delayed start, and lack of any communication, really let it down.

In short: Hilly, but enjoyable
In full: For the second year in a row this race has been held on a beautiful sunny day.

The race HQ is the fantastic K2 sports centre in Crawley. This has great facilities. It's a great feeling finishing by running around the track and sprinting. The changing rooms and showers are an excellent treat for runners.

The route is through charming woodland. I had forgotten how many hills there were, it is challenging.

The race started over 20 minutes late and in October this is too long a delay as it quickly gets cold. Your last drink, toilet stop etc will all have timed to perfection for a 10.30 start, not a hanging around until 10.55 start. This happened last year and I can't decide what I think causes it. The organisers would also do well to invest in a loud speaker.

In short: A few issues but generally very good
In full: I like this race. It starts and finishes in the athletics stadium and a decent crowd came to watch. The route is picturesque - the majority is set in a lovely forest setting, weaving past the golf course. It was also good to see 2 water stops instead of the usual one.

However, with regret, I have had to take marks off the organisation. The collection of running numbers/chips before the race went smoothly enough but the race itself started over 20 minutes late. Unfortunate, but not really acceptable - I'm just glad it wasn't too cold during that wait.

I'm sure that was just a blip and so I would definitely run this again
