In full: a great race really good value, and good fun running in the dark with all the head torches bobbing along, you also got a spooky glow in the dark technical t shirt and a great goody bag, lots of people in fancy dress made for a good atmosphere, and a great feel good factor as it was for charity, well organised with chip timing as well, i will definately be back next year

In short: Fantastic idea
In full: Great early evening and superb time of the day with dusk giving way to night. I live local but would travel for an event like this. Well worth the entrance fee.

In short: great race
In full: great little race - maybe a bit more lighting needed around areas of the course that were a bit dangerous in the dark , but apart from that a nice race . a few pumpkins dotted around could have added to the atmosphere and a few more people would have been nice .

In short: Great race but occasionally with a few scarier bits for lone female runners
In full: Well organised, helped by the smaller numbers involved. Great to have somewhere warm for the support "other halves" to hole up and have a hot drink. Lovely commentary (despite announcing me as someone else having read my number wrong!) really taking care to refer to repeat runners, and special runners. My first night run. Would like to do more! Hoping that the chip times are published - read one comment that made me think I should have been given them on the day. Hope not as I completely missed that! Thanks to the organisers. A job well done.

In short: great night race.. enjoyed every minute
In full: Great race this one. The flatness meant keeping an eye on pace but very encouraging seeing the other runners lights around the course and commentary was fun. Missed a clock on the finish line.. but that might have just been me... great goody bag....

In short: A lovely night time event, great for runners and families. Can't wait til next year!
In full: Almost purpose built setting, fun for runners and nice warm place for supporters, with tea, hot food and even a bar! Course mostly flat and fast, despite darkness. A few hundred metres a bit tricky in dark, possibly needing extra lighting. Would have been nice to have some vocal support on long stretches. A pure pleasure to see all the headlamps across the lake. Oh, and race commentary was fantastic! Well done all!

In short: Great flat race with a fab goodie bag
In full: 30th Oct presented this as a spooky 10k sprint. It took place at the lake so was completely flat -potential PB however the flatness actually hindered my time as its easy to get into a plateo with the running however nice and easy. Running through the woods bit was funny in the dark with the head torches and it was great to see a sea of light from one side of the lake to all those runners behind me. The goodies were great - runners world mag, head torch to keep, great spooky t shirt, pin badge and pen, and ample bananas and water afterwards. Very slick organisation including picking up a ticket with the chip and gun time. Enjoyed the commentary at lap 1 and at the end shouting out numbers, names and where people were from. My only gripe was the flatness! Yes really - no pb but happy with time.

In short: An atmospheric 10K night race
In full: at £20 per entry (Non afil) it isnt the cheapest however - its for a charity (Parkinsons) and for your money you get a technical t-shirt,head torch and goody bag inc medal.
The race was a flat 2 lap course around the rowing lake which in this instance made it all the better atmosphere as you saw everyones torches flickering spookily.
Excellent marshalls, brilliant atmosphere, my fav race of the year will def do it again
