In short: A lovely day for a cross country In full: This is challenging and varied in having both mud and hills. Neither is too troublesome but you will know you have had a test and you shouldn't focus on the time. Well-organised as ever by the Chiltern Harriers. Thank you. Date of review: November 18, 2012

In short: Tough but rewarding, well organised multi terrain In full: A very enjoyable multi-terrain route in the beautiful Chilterns. Very well organised. My only slight grumble is that at around the 8k - 9k point the front runners and tail enders have to pass each other in opposite directions along a narrow bridleway. This worked OK when both kept to the left as advised by marshalls (though not always easy at speed!), but a couple of runners seemed oblivious to this bit of common sense!
