In short: Really enjoyable - thanks to Zoom Tri In full: It was really enjoyable. Without exception the marshals were friendly and encouraging. There was an apparently endless supply of water, energy drinks and jelly babies. And whoever organised the gorgeous weather needs a special thanks. Date of review: March 15, 2012

In short: A Glorious day In full: Prodominately quiet roads, great support all the way round. Probably tougher on a windy day thankfully it was not. Marshals were organised and very encouraging. The best 20 mile race i have done. I has had my time on a receipt seconds after i crossed the line. Nice touch. Ticks all the boxes. Well done guys. Race definately bagged for a return visit some day. 10 or 20 distance. Date of review: March 14, 2012

In short: Good run with even better marshalls! In full: An unseasonably warm day meant my first ever 20 mile race felt like very hard work by the end. However, the vocal and cheerful encouragement of some of the best race marshalls I have ever experienced really helped.
The race is mostly along quiet country roads with only one busy road requiring single file running. There seemed to be a very friendly feel amongst both competitors and those running the race. Reasonably flat although I am sure they somehow increase the inclines for the second lap :-)
Good technical t-shirt makes the race good value for money too!

In short: Fantastic race, definitely made by the incredibly supportive marshalls In full: This is a great race and I would thoroughly recommend it to everyone.
Yesterday was unseasonably hot but there was still plent of (ice cold!) water, even right at the back of the field. Energy drinks AND jelly babies also available.
I tend to be at the back of any race and can often find that the marshalls are a bit bored by the time I get there but not at this race. I think that my finish time was almost definitely improved by the support and encouragement they gave out even when they'd been stood out there for several hours. Thank you!
My only minor gripe would be that the changing tents could do with something on the floor. Wet socks before the start of a race is not a good plan.
ooh, nearly forgot to say that the nice technical t-shirt was a bonus too! Date of review: March 12, 2012

In short: Good event, well organised few minor issues though In full: Hot hot hot, can't believe I was sun burt in March. Its a good race, well orgainsed. However benches in the changing tent would be helpful. Also supervised bag store is needed, asking people to return to their cars to put bags in isn't on. The race doesn't have to accept resposiblity for it, but every other race seems to cope ok.
Apart from that little winge it was a good day and race. Date of review: March 11, 2012

In short: 1st time there - hopefully not my last In full: 1st time that I`ve done MM20 & hopefully I`ll be back again next year. A 10/20 event set in a nice location (quiet roads & open fields), good start / finish facilities and friendly marshals & water stations around the course. Well done Zoom Tri Club. In short: Excellent race, brilliant marshalling! In full: Really good event. The marshalling was the best I've seen - exceptionally friendly and encouraging and they handled road crossings etc fantastically. Lovely route on quiet country roads, and on the whole it was about as flat as it gets. I was towards the back of the field, which thinned out especially on the 2nd lap - but with the great marshalling I never felt behind or left out. There was plenty of water stations at good intervals offering a choice of water or energy drink, and jelly babies in a couple of places. This one is good timing for a spring marathon - with a relatively small field it is a good opportunity to get a long run in on an organised route with water stops etc. without things being too crowded.
