In short: Met Steve Cram, ran three loops, got a bottle of beer and medal and enjoyed being in Southwold. Thumbs up for a Sunday morning run! Date of review: October 6, 2011

In short: A great race, around the very scenic Southwold. A couple of minor undulations, but otherwise flat- the start was very narrow so if you're looking for a fast time, you need to be at the front - I'll do this run again - great fun - and a bottle of beer Date of review: November 22, 2010

In short: A great little 10k run with a reasonable PB opportunity In full: Having ran this last year I was keen to see that the concerns raised last year had been addressed and I wasn't disappointed!
A much more organised affair this year.
Moving the start really helped so that everybody wasn't bunched up by the pub.
The traffic from last year was non-existant, although there was one car on the course which probably parked in the harbour early and wanted to get out. Thankfully they drove with patience.
A great goodie bag this year with not only a medal and a bottle of Adnams, but some crisps, banana, water, bar-runner, coaster and Percy Pigs!
Steve Cram came this year so it was good to run against an Olympian! A great chap who had plenty of time for everyone.
As I mentioned last year, this can only get better as the years go by, and I suspect it won't be long before 1000 or more people will be running round.
Well done to everyone at Adnams for their hard work.
See you next year! Date of review: November 21, 2010

In short: I really enjoyed this race and will definately be back next year. In full: I really enjoyed this race and will definately be back next year. I was concerned that the weather and the journey up may make this a depressing race but it was the total opposite, a cold but bright autumn morning in beautiful Southwold. The local brewery Adnams certainly came out in force to make this a big local event and deserve a great deal of credit.
It was a nice touch having Steve Cram running, I never thought I run a race with the great man!
£15 is a little on the expensive side for a 10k but it was clearly a big fundraiser for Adnams so I am not complaining. Date of review: November 21, 2010
