In short: Challenging but fun In full: I ran leg 2 (Norbury) as part of team and really enjoyed it. Highlights were: great venue, great organisation, friendly marshals, stunning scenery, challenging course, chunky medal & decent goodies at the end. Thanks to the ETL team for arranging perfect weather - enough rain beforehand to make it nice and muddy but with bright sunshine on the day :) Date of review: November 28, 2012

In short: Great but 'challenging' route. In full: The sun was out, for the first time in a week :) The organisation was fantastic, as were the marshalls, big thank you to all involved. The route is challenging, but we all knew what we'd signed up for, great to see the relay and individual events work so well in tandem, although as a solo watching relayers spring past you in leg 3 was mentally tough to take. Loved the hills, loved the spirit of the whole event. Date of review: November 26, 2012

In short: Great event! Challenging route; stunning scenery; lovely atmosphere... In full: ETL really do know how to put on first class running events. Everything was perfect - as usual: great route, well marked, loads of marshals, and a seriously chunky silver medal at the end! All three sections were challenging and scenic in equal measure and the downhill finish on the final leg was a great way to end a great event. Cheers to the excellent ETL team again! In short: A tough series of hills but highly rewarding at the finish. One to remember for the views & not the pain! In full: Excellent organisation as always for an ETL race. Would certainly do it again & they even organised some amazing weather (even if it was a bit damp underfoot). Date of review: November 25, 2012

In short: Insane fun In full: Whoever thought up this race is mad, but in a good way. The location is great, the hills are steep, but fun. The organisation is great, the marshalls are friendly. And yes, it was muddy, but it's been raining a lot. Date of review: November 25, 2012

In short: A great race all round, well worth the money, travel time but make sure you do hill work in the weeks leading up to it! In full: Big thanks to all volunteers and ETL for putting on such a great race.Lovely scenery not that I saw much of it, very friendly competitors and a nice HQ.Hills 2 and 3 seemed to go on for ever but the coming back down was fun. Only one gripe the age old problem of water in cups, especially as I was doing the individual event.Could ETL not put price up by a pound and allow individuals one bottle of water somewhere on course?Anyway only a small issue,EXCELLENT EVENT.
