In short: A great run for fun on Boxing Day - fancy dress optional
In full: Muddy, hilly, great crowds and marshalls. A nice t-shirt for finishers. Only gripe was the queue to get over the stiles but didnt detract from the great atmosphere. Will be back again next year, already thinking what to dress up as....

In short: A great race!
In full: This was my first time at the Chevin Chase and I loved every minute of it. This is a fun mix of hills, changing terrain types, mud and trails! Fortunately the weather was extremely mild, leading to lots of mud and soft ground. There are a couple of very short, steep climbs which will test everyone's determination, but they do pay off with spectacular views when at the summit of the Chevin. There was a slight hold up near the end of the race as we queued to cross stiles at either ends of a field, but the atmosphere was fun as people seemed glad to be out enjoying the fresh air! Not a PB course, simply for the stop-start-stiles, but excellent value and very well organised. I will definitely run again in 2012!

In short: Christmas isn't Christmas without doing the Chevin
In full: The Chevin is a Christmas highlight to make a dent in all the extra calories that get piled on.
It doesn't get any less hilly, but the marshals & crowd support really give you a lift on the tricky parts. Very icy this year and a wait at the stiles for us slower runners cooled things down a bit-also no medium t-shirts left so my wife's got another kaftan, but apart from that it was all gravy and we're looking forward to C.C 2011. 10/10

In short: Wonderful Boxing Day Race
In full: A tough trail/road course with a lot of climbing/descending over the 7 miles but ultimately very very rewarding.

Special moment at the top of the last significant climb with clouds and a glorious view of a snow covered Wharfe valley. Already on my to do list for next year.

Great fun.

In short: Cracking event and well worth doing
In full: Tough course with around 1000-1200 ft of climbing (and descending) but excellent scenery and a great atmosphere. Slightly spoiled by a cock up on the finish line meaning I lost 2 places (mainly due to a numberless runner trying to run through the finish line) but otherwise a very good race.
