In short: All round quality - and great preparation for a spring marathon In full: Really well organized. Loads of pre-race info. Scenic route, undulating enough to keep things interesting. Plenty of noise and support in the villages en route. Water in bottles at regular enough intervals and a great bunch of water station volunteers. And a cracking goody bag full of lunch (even if I had to wait a while before I could manage the cheese cob). Thanks to everyone for putting on a top class event, I will hope to be back for another hoody next year. Date of review: April 14, 2014
In short: Great race yet again In full: That bloody gorilla!
Seriously though, a credit to running. You can tell that the support was from runners themselves. I'm not surprised you've got support from an organisation as big as ALDI - it does them credit too - to be involved with one of the very best races in the country of any distance and of any standard of organisation. In short: Such a great race - put it in your calendar now! In full: This was one of the best races I've ever done. The people were so so friendly and encouraging, free hoodie and goody bag packed with treats at the end. Water/gel/jelly baby stations well placed. A really great run and perfect for marathon season! In short: An absolute ripper of an event. In full: This is how to do it. Well organised. Plenty of water in bottles. Sponges. Never had a sponge before. Awesome. Great support. Cracking hoody. Bins for bottles and stuff at every mile marker. Great idea.
In short: Well organised, beautiful race. In full: I loved this race! It was a challenge with all the hills, but the scenery and support make up for it. Couldn't have asked for better weather. I really enjoyed myself and as it was my first time ever running 20 miles it was nice not chasing a pb. Excellent preparation for my spring marathon. I will definitely be back next year. Thanks to all the marshals and supporters, they really made a difference and were so positive. Date of review: March 17, 2014

In short: Thank you Ivanhoe Runners In full: On behalf of Bea from BRATS...This is just to thank you all who took part in organising this fantastic event. I have run many races at home and abroad and this one does stand out with superb organisation, friendly and thoughtful marshals at many water stops, everything you needed was thought off and everything was ticking off so perfectly well. Indeed, a not an easy route but enjoyable with your support, to top it up, blue skies and the sun shining just in order to celebrate the 25 th Anniversary. Well done again, this one is going to be one of my favourites. Date of review: March 11, 2014
