In short: did exactly what it said on the tin : )
In full: brilliantly organised and wonderfully marshalled - accurate mile markers and a cracking goody bag. Set a pb of 2:12 so well chuffed - well done all and bring on London x

In short: Challenging course and weather. Did better than i thought i would, more confident for FLM. Can't imagine as many hills or such windy conditions

In short: Cold, hot, sunny, windy, rain, hail & a Gorilla in the mix (tough run!)
In full: 2nd time for me. Wonderful marshalls and brave spectators. Good fun at the back, but I achieved a PB on what was quiet a windy day!!

Will be back next year - hopefully I won't be that tired that I think I'm seeing Gorillas in Leicesterhire - Did he make it back to Twycross before they noticed he was missing?

In short: I'd forgotton how undulating it was...and it felt harder than 20 miles
In full: This is the third time I've done Ashby and I've enjoyed it on each occasion. The severe wind, made the uphills a struggle... then their was the snow... and then the hail, whipping your face - felt like I'd had a chemical face peel by the end of it! The Marshals were fantastic and encouraged you all the way... even though I was definately in the last third and they must have been cold and fed up by then. This is great FLM prep... particularly in tough conditions. Nice touch with teh photographer too. Roll on '08 Ashby 20
