In short: Nice Ups and Downs with great support
In full: Enjoyable course with a few "ooyah!" hills to it - great support from the good people of Flitwick, esp as the race had closed a few of their roads. much appreciated. Friendly one to do and really liked the way you come on the finish "around a corner" rather than having to finsih looping around a sports field to make the distance up. A bit too hilly for a PB but one for the calendar next year.

In short: great fun, great people, a great run
In full: ok so I didn't make my target time but by forgetting my watch I didn't really help myself! So instead of 5 minute kms they were 5 min 9secs each but I was happy. Ran with Mick from Corby who I met on the race and we kept each other going and hardly noticed the hills. But *everyone* was friendly and it was very well marshalled. A big shout out to the people of Flitwick who turned out to yell and shout at us - even the mayor! Great for newbies and a fair amount of competition up front for the more competitive. Brilliant!

In short: First race for me, wont be my last!
In full: As the tag line says, this was my first ever actual race. A great event, well run and organised by the great stewards. Very beginner friendly, people readily available and very happy to help. The run itself is quite hilly so won't necessarily be a PB every time. But the route is very scenic through the countryside and very few cars are around. Will definitely be back next year!

In short: Brilliantly organised and really enjoyable event
In full: This was the best organised and most friendly race I have ever been too. The event had a great atmosphere and everything from the car park marshals to easy to follow route to the amazing marshals on the course who cheered all the way, was tremendous. Highly recommend this race.

In short: Nice race
In full: This is a special race for me and despite the hills I find myself coming back year after year.

Found it tough this year in the wind, but was still quite a fast time.

I think two water stations would improve the race as if you miss the hands held out its quite a long way to go without getting water. More people handing out chips and numbers would also help and maybe some tables set out for putting your number on.

Thanks Ampthill and Flitwick Flyers for putting on a great race.
