In short: Scenic road race with great atmosphere - definitely in my calendar for 2013
In full: Very enjoyable road race through scenic countryside. A couple of hills - but not too challenging. Battle makes a great start and finish for the race - with the backdrop of the Abbey and lots of people lining the High Street, plus support along the country lanes. The mayor of Battle presented prizes afterwards. Highlights - so many to mention: friendly people; the drummers; lovely scenery; hot food at the finish and a great medal. Well done Battle Bonfire Boyes!

In short: The best 10k in my race diary!
In full: Absolutely love this race. The organisers put on a great even with the centre of Battle closed off to cars for the start which sees a fair amount of the local residents come out to cheer you on. Superb stuff and well worth looking out for this race next year.

The course has a fast downhill for the first third then up you go before a gently downhill to the finish where you find a huge number of supporters and a band to welcome you home.

In terms of improvements I would suggest posting the results as they come in rather than to wait until the last runner is back. Otherwise perfect!

See you next year - thanks Battle.

In short: As ever, a great race...
In full: As ever, a great race. Despite the hills, many gained PBs this year! Great support from the crowd especially through the town. Nice one Battel Bonfire Boys!

In short: Battle 10k - Fantastic race and one of the highlights of the year for me
In full: The organisers have clearly worked hard to put on a great race and it shows. The marshalls (huge numbers) were all supportive, road closures to help and a fantastic turnout from the Battle residents cheering on the runners. The village 'green' type atmosphere at the finish means you wish to stay on and enjoy the moment as well.

Thanks for such a great race and will be back next year.

In short: Good atmosphere. Well organised. Hilly with a very tight bend on the finish. Good medal.
