In short: Varied course, well organised and overall an excellent 10k
In full: A really interesting and varied course. The first half uses bridleways skirting Newbold Comyn Golf Course, with a couple of modest inclines, and has the feel of a trail run. The second half is fast and flat through attractive town centre streets and parks. Minor quibbles such as modest congestion at the start and the lack of portaloos (a couple didn't even make it off the back of the lorry!)didn't detract from an overall excellent 10k experience.

In short: Perfectly pleasant race.
In full: It was a nice race, the course was pretty quick if sometimes a tad narrow, well marshaled but could have done with a few more toilets at the start line, the support through town was excellent.

In short: Reluctant to criticise my local race but they really need to do something about the toilets at the start.
In full: There was a huge queue for about 4 chemical toilets, totally inadequate for 1800 athletes, and many had to resort to the bushes. The site of several hundred people peeing (or worse) in public doesn't exactly add to the ambience of the occasion. Get it sorted. It's not difficult.
Marshalling, as ever, was excellent.

In short: A cracking 10k, well organised with good scenery and a fast course
In full: Did it for the first time in 2013 and loved it. Very much a course of two halves. The first is a multi- terrain undulating 5k, the second is a flat and fast 5k over Tarmac which doesn't quite make up (time wise) for the first but should none-the-less give you a good time, though not in the same league as the Bourton's or Eynsham's of the 10k world. A truly great atmosphere with helpful marshals and a nice goody bag et the end. Easily one of my favourite 10Ks.

In short: One of the best 10k races in the area
In full: Taken part in this race for the past 3 years and I always find it well organised with a great atmosphere. I think the amount of runners taking part each year proves its worth. My only complaint is there are never enough toilets.

In short: My local run - and one of the best
In full: I have done this run every year since it began, its getting a little busy now although it was not as bad as expected this year - good fun and well organised.

In short: Good course but too crowded
In full: To echo previous comments, lovely course but start needs to be staggered more as too congested. I started between the 50/55mins point and I was trying to get past people walking in first 2 km. And what the chap was thinking trying to ride a bike the wrong way down the footpath with 2000 runners coming the opposite way... surprisingly he got knocked over. But apart from that, picturesque, nice flat course, definite pb potential and good support

In short: An excellent race again, but crowded
In full: A thoroughly enjoyable race with an interesting course and great support through Leamington Spa. However, as many people have commented, the constricted footpaths and trails for the first 5k make it nigh on impossible for overtaking! Nontheless, a thoroughly enjoyable day out, perfect prep for the London marathon next week

In short: Interesting range of scenery and areas
In full: Relatively big field so I imagine it gets congested further back on tight paths in first 5k. Towards the front it was fine. Interesting course with most inclines in the first 5k. Part of Warwickshire Road Race League so quite a lot of club vests present although this seemed perfectly fine for fun runners and first timers too
