In short: Great preparation for Birmingham Half
In full: A really challenging 8 1/2 miles, but lot of fun...until the 1 in 3 climb a mile from the end which eliminated any lingering thoughts of trying to chase down the guy in front.

In short: Big Hills.
In full: My Garmin logged 1572 feet of altitude gain during the race, so this is proper hilly. Lots of variety and interest on a twisty route - roads, mud, grass, woodland, stony paths, tracks. Good marshalling, very supportive and friendly. Anyone who can maintain a run up every hill on this race has my respect!

In short: A great challenge. Not for the faint hearted
In full: Cracking race. Well organised with good facilities. Very tough course that certainly blows away any cobwebs. Hills, fresh air and some great views (if you get chance).Enthusiastic and helpful marshalls. Clear mile markers. Best part is the coffee and homemade cakes after.. much needed and well earned.

In short: Brillian run, brilliant marshalls, killer course...but very enjoyable
In full: Thanks to everyone involved, course was so hard & hilly but atmosphere was brilliant all round the course. Will be back again...but not till muscles have been well soaked!! Would recommend this run to anyone looking to do something different to the usual road courses.
