In short: Bacon sandwiches at the end were a good idea. But how about some veggie bacon?!

In short: Well organised and a great autumn challenge
In full: 3rd time of running this race and still enjoy the challenges it throws at you. A shame that the route changed at last minute through no fault of the organisers and at least it went ahead. Will definitely be back next year!

In short: Challenging, scenic, well organised and great atmosphere
In full: My 2nd time - a really enjoyable run - fairly hilly so quite challenging, but good atmosphere created by the marshalls and runners. Very well organised, nice goody bag. Having your name read out as you cross the finish line is a nice touch. Will definitely do it next year.

In short: So well run for such a local event - great organisation, hilly challenging route, great marshalls and non profit making

In short: Very well organised enjoyable race and money raised for a good cause!
In full: As a newish runner I was a little nervous after having read about the nasty undulations in the Ricky Road Run! It was difficult in place but thoroughly enjoyable. The route was scenic, the marshalls were encouraging and smiley and it was well organised. A briliant goody bag at the end, and a really good race where everyone felt welcome. My favourite race to date! The route had to be shortened slightly due to a road accident which meant it was around 9.4 miles instead of the 10, but it didn't matter. Lovely downhill finish as a reward for the hills too. Well done organisers and all competitors, I'll be back next year to try and improve on my 1:35 time.

In short: True 'Charity' Race
In full: Amazing race; well organised with an unbeatable goody bag and a large paortion of my entry fee going directly for charity. Indeed one of the marshals mentioned it raised circa £30k for charity. Very rewarding to know exactly where your entry fee goes! See you all again next year!
