In short: An excellent race on a freezing cold day
In full: Last year, the first time I ran this race, I made some scathing comments about the baggage drop, the goody bags and the medal. This year it couldn't have been better. The organisation was like clockwork, and on an absolutely freezing cold day this was one great way to warm up! Even the medal didn't look quite so much of an advertisement for Lifestyle Renault! In fact it was such a good race that I took 10 minutes off my time last year and a cool 6 minutes off my PB! A great race. I look forward to 2014!

In short: The best organised event I have run - really challenging but worth it for the sense of achievement.
In full: This is the 4th time I have run Tunbridge Wells half marathon and was also my forst half marathon. It is a really tough but scenic course and, despite Spring Hill being a killer,my best course for achieving pBs. I love this race and will be back again for the 5th time next year!

In short: A great re introduction back in to half marathons
In full: Having attempted the Hastings half 3 years earlier and on the back of no training (which made for a horrific experience) it was with real concern that I attempted my local 'half'. Putting in some decent miles before hand I found this race a real pleasure. A couple of light small hills, one real good one (snow hill)and lots of crowd support made for a fantastic re introduction in to the half distance. I would strongly recommend this runner for all levels.

In short: Well organised race with great support.
In full: How many half marathons do you get your medal off an Olympian? Not many but you do at the TW half! Great atmosphere. Quite a tough course especially the lung busting spring hill! Well done to the race organisers
