In short: Great race, well organised by runners In full: A race organised by runners for runners and it shows. Well marked and marshalled route through stunning countryside. This is definitely one to put in your calendar and if you run it once you will be back for more. I would recommend changing the direction each year. Top notch run, great effort from all the people involved. Date of review: May 12, 2016

In short: Tough and beautiful, just like me really! In full: Well this was my third Ashridge boundry run and it still remains my favorite race of the year! Brilliant Marshals, really friendly and encouraging. An unbelievably well marked out route(Impossible to get lost)Stunning scenery across a fun but very challenging course(1200m of elevation!) But,don't be put off by that, most folks enjoy taking a little stroll up the bigger hills and then there's always plenty of downhill fun to be had afterwards to make up lost time! I would also like to mention how friendly the runners are.I hit a bit of a wall at 14 miles and one guy gave me his water, another gave me an energy bar.I may have had to grab a branch and have a long sit down if it wasn't for these guys!(Thanks) Anyway,if you want to run somthing challenging, fun and beautiful then this is the race for you! Lastly big thank you to Anthony and Andy for putting this race on.Really nice guys.See you all in 2017! Craig Price... Date of review: March 20, 2016
In short: Everything you could ask for in a trail race In full: Long steady climbs, short steep ascents, mud, woods, views, fields. What more do you want in a trail run. Tough route and not to be taken lightly. I use this as a marker for the trail marathon season later in the Summer. Lots of club runners and always a good atmosphere on course. Great event.
