In short: Well organised friendly run
In full: The snow added to the challenge of my first half marathon. Pleased to fn the first hill and over half the second hill. Great goody bag. Jelly baby lady, I love you.
Great race with nice sized field allowing you to run at your pace from the start. We'll be back.

In full: I love this race; third time for me this year and managed to get up both hills this time without walking!! Absolutely love it - great marshalling in freezing conditions.

In full: One of the very best in terms of organisation and route. The hills are 'significant' but add to the event rather than detract. Good support from frozen marshals. There are no negatives; it's all good!

In short: Ran, better than expected.
In full: Cold but not windy. Expected to walk up the hills but gentle down hills and flat off set. Felt good, pleased with the result. Thanks to all the marshalls standing out in the cold. Plus extra thanks to lady at last water station with the jelly babies. Thanks.

In short: One of the best!
In full: Testing conditions this year! Would like to echo the praise for the marshals, you did a great job and were very supportive.A well run event as ever, all that was missing was a nice mug of soup at the finish!

In short: Nice scenery very “interesting” hills.
In full: If you like half marathons would definitely recommend giving this one a try; some bits are very scenic and other bits will certainly push you. If you’re after a sense of achievement this one is definitely for you.

In short: Well organised, varied course, good facilities
In full: Organisers communicated weather worries well and updated website clearly and at appropriate times.
Marshalls were brilliant as they must have been frozen but were still encoraging and enthusiastic to the end.
The beauty of the scenery was lost on me because of the bitter cold on the day but this is a lovely course.

In short: apart from the snow and hills, it was great!
In full: Smooth organisation, great goody bag. A bit thank you to the volunteers who turned out in very cold weather to make this event happen. Lovely hot showers and plentiful toilets at the start. Bit tight on the prizes - just one prize per 10 year age group. Lovely run, this is the 3rd time I've done this event. Prefer it in decent weather. The snow and puddles underfoot on the tow path were not enjoyed!
