In short: Great 10k In full: Thankfully cooler this year than last. Route largely unchanged from last year so up the hill to the town twice which some did moan about. Don't mind it myself as its only a small hill and means the last k is all downhill! Chip timing and a nice memento too. Date of review: July 14, 2014
In short: OK But organisation bit lax In full: I still do not show on the official results list. Contacted organizers twice with race number and time. Suspect that the chip timing missed a few people. With enough helpers about why try and be clever, why not record with clip boards and paper. No excuse for not replying to email, even if the reply said sorry can't help Date of review: July 17, 2013
In short: Varied course through the town, parks and riverside, well organised and great support from the local people In full: An excellent event, with varied scenery and terrain through the pretty parks, riverside and streets of Evesham. The organisation was brilliant and the local people really support the event. On one street several thoughtful residents were cooling the runners down with hosepipes - very welcome on the hottest day of the year. The course has a couple of modest inclines and a few twists and turns which reduces its PB potential, but the real killer was the heat. Date of review: July 8, 2013
In short: fantastic course, bring on next year! In full: apart from the heat of 25 degrees whcih tested any runners, I thoroughly enjoyed this race. being my first Evesham run, it has definate PB potential, great tech tshirt after and gerat marshall support - highly recommended Date of review: July 8, 2013
In short: another fabulous race..... In full: but very, very hot! well organised as usual and I actually prefer the new route. mildly challenging, does not have the long slog on the other side of the river and a nice down hill finish to boot. liked the tech t memento too. will be back again next year
In short: Fantastic race - yet again! In full: This is one the highlights of my racing year. Loads for the kids to do, great location, decent route. It changed this year, for the better, I thought, as we didn't cross the river and the finish was a decent downhill. It was hot today, though, and the final section up through the town was like an oven. Really enjoyed it.
A special word for the marshalls at Evesham. They are wonderful! There was even a team at a car park in the town to make sure you knew where to go and that the parking was free. Brilliant! Date of review: July 7, 2013
