A half marathon on trails, incorporating at least 3000 feet of ascent - the height of a Scottish Munro. The route takes in eight tough ascents, and eight tough descents. There are pleasant views, but you won't be able to see much of them because of the sweat stinging your eyes. The entry fee includes a donation to the race charity. Final race fee includes Runner's World entry processing fee, increased license fees from National Trust and fees for St John Ambulance. Race sells out every year - enter early if you want to run. No waiting lists, no entry on the day!
