 FAQ Questions

How do I upload my picture?

Click on My Profile in the pod on the top left-hand corner of your screen (you need to be logged on to see this. Then press the button underneath the silhouette of a face (''Change Your Face''). A message will ask you to select an image from your computer that is one of the following file types: .jpg, .JPEG or .gif. It needs to be 100 pixels wide and 120 pixels high, and no bigger than 15K.

Why am I being asked for so many details?

The basic details (name, email, postcode) help us to know that our website community is made up of genuine people, to send you optional free email newsletters (you can switch these off on your My Details page), and to locate your area so that we can show you local races. Additional details (about your favourite kinds of running, etc) are optional, and help us to customise your newsletters. Find out more about how we take your privacy seriously.

I have more than one membership. I want to remove one. What do I do?

My validation code hasn''t arrived

There is usually one of three simple causes. (You need to be logged in to check them):

    • Mistyped email address
The most common mistake - either spelling errors, or ''.co.uk'' instead of ''.com'' etc. You can check the email address you submitted on your My Details page. If you change it a new validation code will be sent to you.

    • Junk mail filter set too high
Particularly common with Hotmail accounts, this makes your email account filter out all automatically-generated email - including your validation code. Try temporarily switching off your junk mail filter, then asking for a new code to be sent.

    • Unaccountably lost email
Not very common, but you can ask for a new code to be sent.

If none of these work, then please do let us know.
