Just a beginner here, started running mid July this year and have run (I use that term loosely) a little under 450k so, have set myself a target of 1,000k in 2013 - a shade under 20k/week so not too taxing 
I've decided to sponsor myself 10 pence per kilometre run throughout the year so, £100 to my favourite Charity if all goes well
Any other 'beginners' setting a distance goal in 2013?
