I have had the all clear from my consultant to run again folloeing surgery to remove my Plantarus tendon and repair my Achilles. I have had almost two years out from running or any sort of exercise due to the tendon constantly tearing before the surgery. My aim for this year is to run 10k before xmas. Any suggestions on how to go about training for this whilst bearing in mind I have to go careful so I don't undo the fantastic work the surgeon did.
