Hope it's not quicker than 4:20 because I'm not sure if I'll ever beat that

03/03/2014 at 22:47

Ooh Andi, did your cat that had disappeared fora few days turn up?

04/03/2014 at 19:51

Phewwww 13.1km 8.14m in 1:24:13 set off way to fast and wanted to give up twice slowed a bit and kept on plodding, it was a real lesson, whatever you do, learn from my mistakes, don't go to quick!!!!

Ok................. Bugger knee got worse, abandoned run at 6km.

some assistance and I'm guessing clergymans knee which is somewhat ironic to say the least.

Ibuprofen, ice, rest. Giving it till Tuesday if it's still bad then I'll sulk n see a doc.

so i'm quietly going to twiddle my thumbs and get bored silly between now and Tuesday.

oh dear Steph! lets hope you don't become another injury stat from P&D  Look after the knee and maybe splash out on a sports fizz?

05/03/2014 at 22:45

Fizz is a problem due to work, no time off so struggle to get to my normal one. Arse might try another, going to be good n just rest till Tuesday

05/03/2014 at 22:51

HAHAHAHA says the man running 50% more than me

i've been seriously thinking about settling for going for 4:28-4:29 and don't care if that means your faster after our Spring marathons no point hurting myself going quicker is there

06/03/2014 at 22:36

lool and have just had my second 'rest' day this week!!

You have a full month to see my time and work out a plan to beat me by a few seconds

Am very tired this week and hope it's not due to my 63 mile week last week? Just 10 days to go and I'll start my taper so hope to get my energy back then

And as for the fizz why not splash out on a course for the OH for his birthday

Sorry, missed this Steph. Thanks for asking, it took 2 weeks but I managed to trap 'Tiny' in an empty cottage adjacent to the Farmhouse - she is now safely home (de-wormed) and seems to have risen in the rankings of the other 9 cats for her time outside

Hehehehe. Need to save every penny for gear for Baby Spine.

06/03/2014 at 22:57

Happy about the cat they have a cool cat sign now

so I'm really hoping that 6:20 per km which is 4h 27m will be enough. As I'm not sure I can do any better than that

07/03/2014 at 21:55

hehe and weirdly enough my 10k time today works out to a 4:27:07 according to McMillan

08/03/2014 at 00:08

this non running lark is weird, watched Solaris followed by Gravity, had a couple of drinks and stuffed myself silly

roll on Tuesday or Wednesday when I will try to run again

08/03/2014 at 00:08

Ok I'm now going to garmin to see how quick you are, I'm scared

08/03/2014 at 00:13

So e nice trash talk on your garmin stats night... Drunk n stuffed!

09/03/2014 at 21:54

hehe and hope the hangover has gone now??

As for the trash talk, I may be a wuss but am following 'my' plan Take today, had 3 breaks, first was to try and sort out my HRM spike then stopped at 6 miles to take off my buff, gloves, have a shot blok and watch a pair of buzzards on the Loch. The 3rd was at 9 miles to put my gloves back on All in all was 12.25 miles averaging 9:55m/m with a 1250ft incline so not too shabby

09/03/2014 at 22:35

Good run.

Do you have one last long run left before you taper?

09/03/2014 at 22:37

My legs are feeling good from the rest, no run since Wednesday, 7 miles of walking yesterday.

Going to try Tuesday or Wednesday. Have really my only ever proper half two weeks today.

09/03/2014 at 22:37

ta and yup, got a 20 miler planned for next weekend but am now thinking of going ultra slow and doing a 4 hour run rather than trying to run 20 miles faster.

09/03/2014 at 23:22

Long n slow sounds good to me. 3:45 to 4h
