Wow, that was some fast delivery SL    Which food processor is it?

Well done KC

Thomas surprised me today, said he wanted to make apple juice so we got our juicer out and made some.  Didn't like the sediment bit but thought it was ok!  Asked if he wanted to come jogging with mummy and he's keen for that too.  Good boy

It's one of these Cinders

Just made a banana/apricot/peach ice cream in it - 3 frozen 3 unfrozen nanas, about 8 frozen apricots and 3 peaches - heaven.  That and a honeydew melon add up to 1400 cals for brekkie so over half the necessary amount eaten by 10am.     I'm planning on leaving early to pick up KC from school and  taking the dogs with me  for a run.  I've got to have a massive clean up today so can't do it now and got the social worker coming tomorrow - I do wish they'd just sod off and let me get on with a normal life.    K'c not been so good this morning - hope she doesn't kick off at school again........   Hope you're all having a good day and enjoying the last of the sun if you've got it - we have now but it might rain this afternoon

That looks a neat bit of kit SL, have bookmarked it

So.............are we doing Beachy or not.  I've done nada training so not sure about it

I do have my Titsey form filled out to send off today

Cinders - I really don't think I can do Beachy even walking.  I was in pain running around on the beach the other week and that was only 15 mins.  I was eating almost all cooked food a couple of months back and ended up with another crohns flare up.  I'm practically 100% now and start having my B12 jabs fortnightly from next week so I hope to get some energy and fitness back soon - but it won't be soon enough for Beachy.  Shall we have a look around and see if there's a 10k around the same date and do that instead?

Did I mention that I bumped into my raw running friend who lived in Thailand while I was at the market in Brighton.  He moved back the end of last year as his wifes parents were ill - dementia I think.  The kids love it so much they don't want to go back.  I might do a race with him later this year.  He's been eating more cooked (still vegan), rediscovered a drop of beer and put on a bit of weight but he's getting back into the raw food and running and has started updating his website.  I've had to tell him off as he forgets to add his food diary at the end of the day!  www.rawrunner.com.

I forgot about that run, when is it?

Titsey is the 14th October

Not sure I can walk Beachy either.  What do you think HTF?

12/09/2012 at 20:14

Titsey (snigger) would be a good alternative - at least it won't kill me!  HTF - what's your thoughts?

12/09/2012 at 21:19

I've just entered Titsey online

12/09/2012 at 22:59

Yay SL   I sent off my form in the post today.  Has HTF entered?  Is ST doing it too?

Well the day will be here tomorrow, little C off to school.  Afternoon only. Dunno if I feel or   He's excited which is great.

Morning

There's a chap asking for a Beachy place over in general.  I might mail and offer mine, really don't think I can do it.

13/09/2012 at 17:22

ST's definitely doing it - that's how I found out about it.  Not sure if HTF's entered yet, I hope she does.  Can we transfer our Beachy places then -- I'm sure there'll be someone who wants mine, I'll have a look on Fetch too.

I saw the piccy of Thomas on fb, he looks all grown up in his uniform

13/09/2012 at 18:28

Yes, the deadline for transfer is Friday 21st September.  I've sent an email to the organisers but not heard back yet.

He didn't look quite as smart when I picked him up lol

Morning Yeo

Go Trigger

14/09/2012 at 17:32

I shall drag my arse somehow around Beachy, but it will be terrible.

I have entered Titsey - much more sensible distance, though how long it takes to do that could be embarrassing!

Bought new running shoes today.  Shocking colour mind!

14/09/2012 at 17:33

How shocking HTF?

14/09/2012 at 17:48

Good luck Trigger, think you have officially become the only runner on this thread.

I like the colour HTF - a bit like my hallway - Duck Egg Blue   I thought you might drag yourself round Beachy - I honestly wouldn't manage it, still getting tired too easily and pain when I move too much.  I did a 3 mile run in the woods with the dogs on Wednesday and ran 4 miles with the club last night, nearly killed me

14/09/2012 at 19:27

HTF, I was looking at the paler colour near the toes - didnt notice the brighter stuff but I still like it

16/09/2012 at 15:59

So how was it Trigger, do tell, I was watching on the tele - I might have seen you but don't really know what you look like!  Hope you enjoyed it, I've just entered the Brighton Half Marathon for next February..............
